Amazing Presenters

Our presenters spoke clearly, memorised their lines, waited patiently for the audience to settle down and pay attention, and knew when it was their turn to present. The students did an awesome job in mcing the school assembly this morning. Clockwise from left to right: Luke, Pele, Anthony, Jonathan, Oshin and Lillyan.

Auckland Zoo Trip

Room 5 went to the Auckland Zoo with Room 3 to learn about animal body parts and how animals use them to live, thrive and adapt to their environment.

One of our favourite animals was the lion. There were two male lions and one of them came to look at us through its window enclosure. The bigger lion gave a quiet roar but it was still loud enough for the other animals in the zoo to hear the lion say, "We're here and we are the kings of the zoo jungle. Hear us R-O-A-R!
