Room 3 tamariki are learning about skip counting in 2's, 5's and 10's. Here's a screenshot of one of the things we do in our online learning. We have a warm-up first before we start our lesson. The learners mark their own warm-ups. Tick if it's correct or dot if it's not correct. They are doing a great job coming to google meet for their learning. Ka pai!
We are Year 2 and 3 learners at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, New Zealand. We have lots of different cultures in our classroom and we try hard to use the values of respect, responsibility, resilience and integrity in our learning, thinking, behaviour, words, actions and attitude. Our teacher is Mrs Golder.

Eva's Perfect Maths Score
Eva again achieved her maths learning goal. Today, Room 5 students had to count back from any number to solve their subtraction problems up to 100.
Another perfect score by Eva, our budding mathematician.
Ano te pai, Eva!

JJ, Jonathan, Luke and Oshin At Their Maths Lesson
Today's maths lesson was to count backwards to solve subtractions problems up to 50.
It was a little tricky counting backwards when the number is bigger than 20. Room 5 students had to think very hard about the number before.
Look, there's Lorenzo in the queue waiting for his lesson.

Eva's Maths Task
Eva is a clever girl because she knows how to follow instructions during her online maths lesson, and this helped her achieve her learning goal.
Tino pai, Eva!
Luke's Perfect Score in Maths
Luke achieved his learning goal which was to count on from the bigger number even when the smaller number is given first up to 100. I can see your confidence is growing. Once you knew what to do you didn't have to circle your bigger number.

Budding Mathematicians
The students showed their knowledge and understanding of the different geometric shapes by drawing them.
Luke (top left), Lillyan (top right), Eva (bottom left) and Lorenzo (bottom middle).
Love your drawings!š I'm really pleased to see you all turn up to this important lesson.
