Plants by Sione

The plants need lots of things to live.
The plants need air, sun, soil and water to survive, live and grow.

The children planted three swan plants outside Room 5.

Water Fun Day by Jonathan

Last Friday, the whole school had a water fun day and there were lots of activities. There was a water slide with lots of bubbles and a bucket. It was so fun for the whole school.

But some children weren't here. It was on Friday after lunchtime and lunch was short. It was 5 minutes and the children went straight to the activities.

Commenting On Our Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu Blogging Buddies

Today we visited the blogsite of our two Blogging buddies. We enjoyed reading some of their stories. We learnt to write positive comments using some kind words.

The first one was Rawhiti School. We commented on their, Jumping on their weekend! blogpost and told them that we hope they enjoy the weekend. Here's the link to their blogsite: Papatuanuku Team 2020

The other was Makaraka School. We wished Ollie a Happy Birthday. Here's the link to their blogsite: Makaraka School Class Blog

We are thoughtful and caring.

Our New Classroom

Our class started the year in the multipurpose room, and we stayed there for 3 weeks until the builders and painters finished renovating Room 5 for us.

Last Monday we moved into our new classroom in Room 5. Our walls have carpets and the colour is mostly blue but one wall which is orange. The heater is orange too. The floor has carpets too and they are grey with pockets of orange tiles.

We have a new sliding whiteboard.

We think our new classroom is beautiful. It's bright and colourful.
