Anthony Attends His First Hangout Meet

It was great to have Anthony join his classmates for their online reading lesson. His Mum was there to support his learning. This morning the Bananas reading group focused on the question mark (?) and they learnt that the word, 'where' is a question word. They also had to make the pitch in their voices rise.
Ka pai for attending your online lesson Anthony!

Home Learning: First Day of Group Guided Reading for Term 2 2020

This morning the Bananas and Oranges had their first guided reading lesson with Mrs Golder in a google Hangout Meet. Luke and Eva read 'My Home', an ebook from Sunshine Classics. Then they had to do several follow-up activities for their Home Learning: Spelling, Matching words and pictures, Comprehension and Recording.

Listen to Pele's recording of her reading. She is reading, 'Good For You' and her Mum is helping her out.

Ka Pai to all those students who turned up for their first guided reading lesson in the Hangout Meet, as well as their Mums for supporting their home learning.
