We are Year 2 and 3 learners at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, New Zealand. We have lots of different cultures in our classroom and we try hard to use the values of respect, responsibility, resilience and integrity in our learning, thinking, behaviour, words, actions and attitude. Our teacher is Mrs Golder.

I like making the tomato sauce bottle, especially doing paper mache. I had fun making the leaves and the top.

Here is our finished Buzzy Bee artwork. This wraps up our Kiwiana learning on Buzzy Bee, New Zealand's famous and popular toy. In the above artwork Buzzy Bee does what bees do best - collecting pollen and honey from flowers to feed the baby larvae which are resting in the beehive.
Ka pai tamariki, your artwork is beautiful and colourful.
Hineiturama had an accident a couple of weeks ago. Her mum took her to the hospital and the doctors and nurses put her arm in a cast. She's a little bit sore but is on the mend. Luckily, it was her left arm because she can still use her right arm to write and operate her ipad.
Take care and be careful Hineiturama.
It's the start of our second Lockdown for the year and Room 3 tamariki is back to online learning again. It's great to see Steven focusing on his tasks while he is staying at home and he is using the Room 3 Learning Hub to support his learning. Ka pai Steven!
