Celebrating Miss Nicholas

Room 3 made a card with lots of flowers for our learning assistant, Miss Nicholas. She is kind and nice and she helps us with our learning. Yesterday at the Support Staff assembly, Mele said some wonderful words while Isyss and Patience presented yummy chocolates and flowers.  

Miss Nicholas you are great and special to us.

Principal's Award Recipients: Patience and Mele

Well done to the Room 3 recipients of the Principal's Awards at last Friday's school assembly, Patience and Mele. Patience has made a huge effort to identify the beginning and end sounds of words during writing, while Mele has made a huge effort in using key words to answer questions correctly.

Pink Day

 Today was Pink Day and the students were allowed to wear pink to show the world and the school that we stand up against bullying behaviour. Here are some of the students in their beautiful pink outfits.

JJ, Cairo, Patience and Room 5 Receive Awards

 

JJ and Cairo received a Principal's Award this morning in the school assembly for their success in learning, while Patience received a Duffy Award for moving up one reading level. 

Anthony accepted the Tidy Kiwi Award on behalf of Room 5 who was this week's recipient because the students keep their space clean and tidy inside and outside their classroom and in the surrounding area outside their classroom.

Patience and Lorenzo have queued up quietly waiting for their turn for online reading lesson, while Eva and Luke read the last page of their ebook, Wake up, Mum! 
Today the Oranges learnt about the exclamation mark and raised their voices when they saw an exclamation mark beside a word.
