We are Year 2 and 3 learners at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, New Zealand. We have lots of different cultures in our classroom and we try hard to use the values of respect, responsibility, resilience and integrity in our learning, thinking, behaviour, words, actions and attitude. Our teacher is Mrs Golder.

Our New Classroom
Our class started the year in the multipurpose room, and we stayed there for 3 weeks until the builders and painters finished renovating Room 5 for us.
Last Monday we moved into our new classroom in Room 5. Our walls have carpets and the colour is mostly blue but one wall which is orange. The heater is orange too. The floor has carpets too and they are grey with pockets of orange tiles.
We have a new sliding whiteboard.
We think our new classroom is beautiful. It's bright and colourful.

Wow Room 5, your new classroom looks awesome! The orange makes the room look very cheerful.

Kia ora, We love your new classroom. It looks really big. The orange wall looks bright and colourful. Our class room is very small. We have 17 children in our class room. We will take a photo of our classroom and send it to you .
